- Check whether another device, like your phone on the same Wi‑Fi, has internet. If it doesn't either, the problem is the router or the provider.
- Turn the router off, wait 30 seconds, and turn it back on. Give it 2-3 minutes to come up.
- On the computer, toggle Wi‑Fi off and on, or switch Airplane mode on and off.
- Forget the network and reconnect: Settings → Network & Internet → Wi‑Fi → Manage known networks. You'll need the password.
- Run the built-in troubleshooter: right-click the network icon → Diagnose problems.
- If only one website won't open, try another browser or a private window. The site itself may be down.
MacOn a Mac: click the Wi‑Fi icon in the menu bar and toggle it, or go to System Settings → Wi‑Fi to forget the network and rejoin.
Important: If no device at home connects even after restarting the router, call your internet provider. There may be an outage in your area.
